The Bruce Trail
The Bruce Trail begins in Queenston Ontario and winds its way through several major towns and cities and past the vineyards and escarpment of Niagara, on its way to Hamilton, Ontario, and its final destination of Tobermory.
The trail is apx. 800 kilometres long, making it one of the longest trails in Ontario. The trail follows along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment. The Bruce Trail is one of the thirteen UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves in Canada. Because of its size and the fact that it travels through privately owned farms and properties it is strictly a hiking trail.
