Ridgeville, Ontario

Anyone visiting Ridgeville will be impressed by its gently rolling well tended fields. The community, was settled early in the 1800’s by United Empire Loyalists. The first postmaster, Jonas Steele named the community Ridgeville, because of it’s location along the Short Hills.

Ridgeville is located above the Niagara Escarpment and does not enjoy as warm a climate as it's neighbours to the north. However there are abundant apple and pear orchards, making it a perfect spring or fall destination.
