Attractions

Niagara has a host of attractions many of which are free. Spend a day in the Old Town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, retracing the history of the War of 1812. Ride the antique carousel at Lakeside Park in Port Dalhousie where the ride is still 5 cents! Don't forget that a visit to Port Dalhousie would not be complete without a walk to the end of the pier, which for the history buffs is also the entrance to the first two Welland Canals.

If the nightlife is for you be sure to visit the Clifton Hill District after dark and take in all the sights and sounds that "The Hill" has to offer.

Spend a day at Niagara Falls and visit the Niagara Parks Greenhouse, taking time to stroll through the manicured gardens of Queen Victoria Park.

Don't forget that Niagara Falls comes to life in the winter with The Festival of Lights. Whatever your tastes the Niagara Region is sure to have something that interests everyone.
